Linking Road and Jalan Malioboro Jogonegaran, Sosrowijayan divided into two regions, namely Sosrowijayan Wetan and Sosrowijayan Kulon. Prawirotaman, an area located about five kilometers from the city center can become confused when looking for alternative lodging. Post-independence, precisely ’60s, this village was known as a batik industrial center which is managed by the descendants Prawirotomo. Kauman village at the time of the kingdom is home to nine rulers of the Kingdom assigned to supervise the affairs of religion. Since hundreds of years ago, this village has a large role in Islamic religious movement.
