West Papua is one of the porvince in Indonesia has a wealth of extraordinary sea. One of the sea that could potentially be used as tourist attractions found in Kaimana district.

Behind the simplicity and friendliness of its people, in a district that has a total area of 18,500 km2, there is a sea tourism area known as the Gulf of Triton. Triton Bay is a new potential tourism in Kaimana. To develop into an international tourist destination, local government took the local Conservation International Indonesia (CII) to jointly develop the tourism potential of Triton gulf. As other Papuan Islands, Triton bay is offers underwater beauty extraordinary. The Gulf of storing wealth in the form of fish and coral reefs are diverse. In this area, there are 937 species of fish, where 14-16 of them, a new species. There are also 492 species of coral that six of whom also are new types. Besides watching the marine wealth, visitors will also be fascinated by the existence of dolphins and whales, they are playing in between the islands and scattered around the Triton.

Visitors will not stop at the beauty of Triton bay. In the Mai-Mai village, they can see the paint on limestone cliffs as tens of meters. Red lines are etched on the wall forming human motives, plants, reptiles, fish, and various forms of which are still mysteries. The painting is like to tell about the behavior of ancient indigenous communities and also illustrates a variety of animals at the time. Until now, no one knows, when and who painted that stand upright on a small island Triton Bay area. However, Tourism and Culture Kaimana department ensure that the picture is Mesolithic era relic.
