Siak Sultanate Park

Traditional-style house with this Sultan’s palace, located about 120 km upstream on the Siak River from Pekanbaru, was built in 1889 by Sultan Sharif Hashim Abdul Jalil Syarifuddin. It now becomes a museum, the palace contains the royal Sultan equipment and other items that contain history. Has been proven during the 16th century, the Sultanate of Siak Indrapura Series ended until 1946, when the place became famous victim of the unrest that followed the Japanese surrender events at the end of World War II.
