Melanggar waterfalls in the hamlet Perbuah, Marayuh village, located approximately 260 km from Pontianak. When using public transport, visitors must stop at the terminal Ngabang district town (about three hours from the city of Pontianak).

From here, you can use the vehicle to the village Serimbu (about 56 km from Ngabang), with a journey time of about two hours more. From village Serimbu, trip to the waterfall Melanggar followed by speed boat 13 km/h with a 9.9 engine powers. Travel across the Landak River is taking about two and a half hours, it also must pass a number of cascade. On the left and right all the way across the Landak River, which can be seen is the green jungle. Occasionally seen villagers bathe and wash in a river. Visiting the Harau Valley, there are two places to stop off at the same time, the nature reserves and theme parks. Hill surrounded by towering limestone, the landscape around the valley was beautiful and amazing.

Harau Valley is a large gap with a diameter of 400 meters. The valley is located in Koto Lima Puluh District, about 15 km from the municipality Payakumbuh, or 47 kms northeast of Bukittinggi. A Dutch heritage monument located at the foot of the waterfall Sarasah Bunta Harau show that the valley has often visited people since 1926. (more…)

Parapat is the entrance gate to the city of Lake Toba to Samosir Island. From Tigaraja, the port city you can reach Parapat and crossing to Samosir with a wooden boat or seed boat. By vehicles, you have to go through the city Ajibata about 1 km from Parapat. Specify other options to enjoy the panorama of the beautiful lake Toba. Zamrud lake (Emerald lake) was originally two adjoining lakes, the Pulau Besar Lake and Bawah Lake. Because in the village of Zamrud, the lake is more popular among the people with the name of Zamrud Lake. Since November 25, 1980, lake and forest area which has a unique view of this primary swamp forest by the government as wildlife reserves. Lately citizens with the local government area of proposed 2500 hectares are used as a national park.
